VIDEO AD Clips
Everyone has their own style, so the below are by no means the only way to showcase your music to a new audience (which is essentially what we will be doing over the course of your Ad Campaign).
However, video clips for Ads do require a little specific styling - tweaked slightly from what you would post on your socials - and here are a few that have worked well in previous campaigns.
*Please note, we have only used Square clips here but Portrait Clips (9:16) need to be prioritised for all campaigns!
Use lyrics to engage audiences.
Live footage is often a winner!
Colourful clips often help to catch attention.
Incorporate the Spotify icon (which we recommend using) into the text. But definitely only use the official Spotify logo! And only in black or white.
We normally recommend not using Black & White clips but if the clip is engaging enough, you can often get away it it.
And if you’re stuck, using stock footage is an option! Although, be aware that statistically, it’s usually less effective.
