#18 Ed Drewett - The Unfortunate Gent

Singer-songwriter Ed Drewett hit the ground running after graduating from BIMM, London’s songwriting course, and has had major success with his song-writing, collaborating with some of the world’s biggest artists.

He is now extending his career to become a solo performer in his own right and ‘The Unfortunate Gent’ is his first solo release, showcasing not only his song-writing ability but also his vocals and impressive piano performing skills.

This single lays on a foundation of a blues bass and the gentle snare adds an edgy element to the overall mood. His unique and gentle voice drifts through the single with a cheeky tone, journeying through the song in a sort of harmony with the melody.

Ed Drewett is definitely one to watch out for as his solo career continues to unfold.
