Share your show! - Make good use of Facebook events and Instagram story countdowns to increase your engagement! You can also add your shows to Spotify for artists so that listeners can access tickets with one click. Never underestimate actively sharing your event via social media with ticket links. For followers, ease of access to tickets is key.
Livestream part of your rehearsal - If you feel as though rehearsals are coming together nicely why not show that off live to your followers? It gets fans excited and potentially gains new interest. Livestreams are personal and interactive so use this to your advantage. Even if rehearsals are a work in progress, sharing that can makes you feel more real and personable.
Tags and Reposts - When posting about your upcoming event be sure to tag all relevant promoters, publicists, booking agents, venues, manager, support acts etc in order to encourage story reposts. Maybe even plan to upload it as a collaborative post with the venue/promoter!
Run a competition - Competitions often pique fans’ interest.
