1. Guitar: Cleaning and Restringing
Regular cleaning and restringing can prolong the life of your guitar and improve its sound.
Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe down the guitar body after each use to remove oils and sweat. For deeper cleaning, use a guitar-specific cleaner or a mixture of water and mild dish soap. Clean the fretboard with a specialized fretboard cleaner or lemon oil for unfinished wood.
Restringing: When restringing, remove old strings carefully to avoid damaging the neck. Clean the fretboard and apply conditioner before installing new strings. Make sure to wind the strings properly to avoid slipping and maintain tuning stability.
2. Brass Instruments: Cleaning and Lubrication
Regular cleaning and proper lubrication are essential for brass instruments to maintain their playability and longevity.
