Indie-Folk artist Blackaby releases newest single Warm and Sweet - an exciting taster of what to expect on his upcoming EP. Everything’s Delicious, is set to be released mid-April and this feel good track perfectly captures the essence of Blackaby’s writing, with nuanced melodic arrangements kept at the forefront – understated and comforting with a trace of something more complex. Warm and Sweet creates a summer filled, enticing atmosphere integrating perfect harmonies alongside a faultless guitar solo from Gengahr’s John Victor.
Following a breakout 2020, Warm And Sweet serves as the first taste of the new EP from the London based artist:
“The lyrics came about quite subconsciously with no purpose in mind. Maybe it’s about not knowing what path to take in life. It might be about food obsession and it might just be about slowly losing your hair. It could be about wanting to do it all ‘right’ and thinking about that too much. It might be about our obsession with youth and it’s probably just about watching daytime TV”
