Déyess’ new single explores details of her real life experiences and relationships, she comments “when I’m in something. I’m all in. My last relationship was the same. She was the first girl I ever loved, and she knew that. I think that’s probably why she broke up with me’. Influenced by Lady Gaga, her music is sincere and heartwarming with her open sexuality and support for the LGBTQ community, which she alludes to in her new single ‘Control’.

This is conveyed in her harmonious lyrics - meaningful and complimented with a delicate and charming background that is simple, yet emotionally effective. And at the same time, potentially reaching out to others who may also be struggling with the same relationship difficulties.

She says: “This song means so much to me, it’s about empowerment and self belief. About not letting anyone tell you who you are and who you are not. It’s about being confident in yourself to drive your dreams and visions, being prepared to tackle whatever/whoever tries to push you off course and stand your ground.”
