#200 - Content Ideas: Get To Know An Artist

  1. What are you doing?

What are you up to this weekend? Spending time in the gym, writing a song, visiting family? Share your life!

  2. The Mundane

True fans want to know everything. Your daily tasks are a gold mine for super fans. E.g. Answer fan questions every Tuesday when you’re having breakfast. People will start to tune in for it.

  3. Behind The Scenes

It’s so much more interesting to see what fans usually don’t get to see. A little video from the tour bus is more engaging than a professional clip of the show! The soundcheck is more revealing than the performance. Let them behind the scenes!

  4. Honesty

Don’t be afraid to show your vulnerable side and to talk of a fear, a failing or a flaw. People respond to openness and imperfection!

  5. The Past

Childhood photos, throw-back-Thursdays – people love to see who their favourite artist was before they became ‘the artist’.

  6. Causes

What do you care about? If you have a cause or charity that’s close to your heart, share it with your fans. Bring them into your opinions. If there’s a specific day or event that is important to you, then talk about it, share information and bring attention to it.
