Irish singer-songwriter, RuthAnne, first came to our attention co-writing the single ‘Too Little Too Late’ with JoJo in 2006, and has now decided that it’s time for her to launch her own solo career. Good decision we think. She blew us away with recent single ‘Liquid’, and has just released new single ‘It is What It Is’, showing her talents extend to a beautiful songwriting storyteller too.

RuthAnne describes her single as “the bittersweet acceptance you experience in the final days of a toxic relationship, letting go and having respect for yourself”. This can be seen in her relatable lyrics, that create an atmosphere that is calming and reassuring of better times to come.

She compliments her beautiful lyrics with a timeless melody that is similar to artists such as Jeff Buckley, Lauryn Hill and Alicia Keys. RuthAnne definitely has big things ahead of her in the music industry.
