#124 Jolé & Christof van der Ven - Bygone

We were recently introduced to this fantastic track and have had it on repeat ever since! It’s the first offering from a collaborative project between Jolé, the moniker of London based songwriter Joshua Oliver, and good friend Christof van der Ven. The song is about “forgetting the small moments of youth and childhood” and came about whilst writing together over zoom at the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The duo say of the track: “We can often take for granted those memories as we age but also stop and reflect on what we had, to remind ourselves that life can be simple in the best ways.”

Bygone is the first single from a forthcoming EP expected later in the year.
